Free printable address label templates 8160
Whether you’re creating labels for a snail mail penpalling hobby or for business correspondence, the Avery 8160 label boasts the standard dimensions--1 inch by 2.63 inches--seen in most printing programs. Those dimensions produce a page of 30 labels (three columns of 10 apiece), which may be printed on many companies’ sticky label paper

There’s no need to pay for expensive labels when, with a variety of computer programs, you can print your own Avery 8160 labels on your computer. Open Word and click “Tools,” then “Letters and Mailings” and choose “Envelopes and Labels.” Click the image of the label in the bottom right-corner, which opens up the “Label Options” window. Scroll
down to Avery 8160, click it so it is highlighted, click “OK,” then click “New Document.” A page of separated labels appears on the page. Type your address or other information onto the top left label, then use the text toolbar at the top of the page to choose a font, size and color. (Optional) Click the “Insert” menu, then click “Picture” and “Clip Art.”
Type a word into the “Search for” box, such as cat, cupcake or soccer. Scroll through the resulting list and double-click an image. Drag it into place on the label. Block and copy everything on the label with your mouse. Right-click and select “Copy,” then click your mouse into the next label. Right-click and select “Paste.” Repeat to paste into the other
28 labels on the screen. Open Publisher and select “Publications for Print.” Click the “Labels” option and scroll through the preset options for Avery 5160 (these labels have the same sizing as the 8160). Double-click a label for it to appear in your workspace. On the left pane window, click the “Multiple” page under “Copies per sheet.” This means
you’ll print the 30 labels instead of just one. Type your contact information over the preset placeholder text. Click the “Font Schemes” link on the “Label Options” pane, then choose a font family for the label. Double-click a font scheme and the label automatically updates. Click the “Color Schemes” link on the “Label Options” pane, then choose a
color scheme. Double-click a scheme and the label automatically updates. Open Photoshop and click “File,” then choose “New.” Name the file “MyLabel” and set the width to 2.63 inches and the height to 1 inch. Change the “Mode” to “CYMK Color” and the “Contents” to “White.” Then click the “OK” button. Click “View” and “Fit on Screen.” This
won’t increase the size of your label, it just gives you more room to design. Click the “Text” tool, which looks like a “T” on the “Tools” palette on the left side of the screen. Notice a new toolbar at the top of the screen. Select your font, color and size, then click inside the “MyLabel” box and type your label information. (Optional) Click the “Paintbrush”
tool on the “Tools” palette, then choose a color from the “Color Picker” and draw some colored accents on your label. paper. To make standard white envelopes, use white printer paper. You can also use white cardstock for a more sturdy envelope appropriate for a greeting card. Scrapbook papers and patterned or colored can also be used to create a unique look. Be sure to follow the printing directions for each template so you get the correct size. I always like to
double-check the size after I've printed it out. You can do this by taking a ruler and making sure that the measurements are what they are supposed to be. Before you print out your envelope you'll need to determine what size you need for what you want to mail. There are standard envelope sometimes cards will come in irregular shapes and you'll
need to figure out the best size of an envelope for it. Measure your envelope and then take a look at the table below. It includes the size of the envelope as well as the maximum size of that will fit inside of it. Envelope Type Envelope Dimensions Suggested Enclosure Dimensions A2 4 3/8" X 5 3/4" 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" A6 4 3/4" X 6 1/2" 4 5/8" X 6 1/4" A7 5
1/4" X 7 1/4" 5" X 7" A8 5 1/2" X 8 1/8" 5 1/4" X 7 3/4" A9 5 3/4" X 8 3/4" 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" A10 6" X 9 1/2" 5 3/4" X 9 1/4" #10 4 1/8" X 9 1/2" 3 7/8" X 9 1/4" When in doubt, go with a bigger size or create a custom envelope with a single sheet of paper that you can trim down to size before folding. A2 is probably the most common envelope size for cards

If you make your own cards, this is a great envelope size because it will fit 4 cards or 2 folded cards that have been cut from an 8 1/2" X 11" piece of paper. square flap envelope and a contour flap envelope available in the A6 size. A7 envelopes hold a card that is 5" X 7" which can include invitations for weddings, birthdays, or any other event. how the envelope is put together and The Paper Mill Store has a free PDF of an A7 envelope template that includes instructions as well. You can also use an A8 envelope to hold greeting cards. A greeting card that is 5 1/4" X 7 3/4" is perfect inside an A8 envelope. At Envelopes.com you can find A8 templates with either square or contour flap. A9

add a homemade touch, these printable paper boxes are fabulous for gifts, party favors, decorations, or other containers. Your imagination's the limit! What you need for this project: Printer Paper Scissors Glue or tape In most instances, you can right-click on the image and choose to save it or print it. Print the paper box template onto a full sheet
paper. Cut the template out on the black lines. Fold on the dotted lines. Glue the flaps to the inside of the box so no one can see them. Do not glue the top flap if you want the box to be able to open and close. The paper you use will determine how sturdy your box will be. You can make decorative boxes from regular paper, such as for Christmas tree
decorations or strings of party decorations. For gift boxes, however, it's best to use heavy construction paper, cardboard, or cardstock. If you are going to make a box from a material too thick or stiff to run through your printer, you can print out the template on plain white printer paper, then tape it to the stiffer material and cut around the template

If you make a box from cardboard, you can use it for shipping purposes by enlarging the template as described below. This is a thrifty option if you have cardboard on hand that would otherwise be recycled. You don't have to pay for a shipping box or find one that can be reused! The square box template can be enlarged and printed onto multiple
sheets of paper if you want to make a larger box. You can change the size of an image with your photo management software. Select a larger size but keep the dimensions the same. Don't accidentally make it taller or wider out of proportion, though, or it won't fold into a box that is square. Remember, when printing a size larger than the paper in the
printer, allow it to print on multiple pages rather than being "print to fit" on a single page. To use the multiple pages, carefully cut them out and tape them together where they match up on the multiple pages. Now you have a larger template you can use to cut the foldable box from a larger piece of cardstock, poster board, or cardboard. When you're
using these boxes for party favors or gifts, consider adding a personal touch to make them special. You can print them on colored or patterned paper, or break out your craft supplies to decorate them. Washi tape and stickers are always cute or use markers to create your own patterns. Rubberstamps, origami paper, and even bingo daubers can add
some color to your paper boxes too
